Painting in oils for 5 years with initial tuition from Mercedes Smith (M.A), I now belong to the Marazion Art and Phoenix Art clubs in South West Cornwall. With my strong sense of colour, I aim to create atmospheric paintings using either directional brush strokes or more recently a palette knife, taking subject inspiration from my local surroundings. My paintings are displayed in our B&B and I have sold several to our guests upon request.
